The Grapeview staff extends a warm welcome to our students, parents, and community members as this new school year begins. If you are new to Grapeview, we look forward to meeting you and showing you what a great school we have. If you are already part of the Grapeview family, thank you for everything you do to help us provide a great education for your students. Our education program could not be the quality it is without your support!

Our belief is that all Grapeview students can learn and achieve well. Our mission is to “collaborate” with parents and the community to provide the highest quality of individualized education in a positive, safe and joyful environment which develops each child’s intellect, character, and desire to learn which produce a responsible and successful citizen”.  We are currently processing a new vision statement for our strategic plan; and in draft form it reads:”Rigor, relevance, and relationships preparing students for 21st century citizenship”.

We take our responsibility of educating Grapeview students seriously and we strive to provide the very best, well-rounded education for all Grapeview students. We will continue to work extremely hard this year to provide a challenging curriculum (rigor) for all students, based upon the state learning standards (relevance). Additionally, we will continue to value the positive relationships we establish with each student (and their family). Providing the 3 R’s (rigor, relevance, and relationships) will ensure that Grapeview students have another great year.

The Grapeview staff has worked hard to prepare the school for our students to return on September 1st for the new 2010-2011 school year. We have missed them over the summer and are excited and ready for each student to return. When the students are in school Grapeview is a happy place for teaching and learning. I personally enjoy working at Grapeview School and love coming to work each day. I cannot thank the Grapeview community enough for your support of our students and their education program. Grapeview School is a special place for many reasons, but community support is certainly near the top of the list. As part of the Grapeview community, you are always welcome at Grapeview School.
