Volunteers Wanted!
We are always looking for parent and community volunteers at Grapeview School to assist our staff and students in a variety of capacities. If you have an interest or experience in any of the following areas, we would appreciate your assistance.
Here are some of the ways you might volunteer at school. Don't let this list limit your imagination. We are always looking for new ideas.
 
PTA: This group creates ways to support Grapeview School programs and enrichment activities. For example they sponsor Reading Nights, Halloween Carnival and an auction to raise money for school projects. PTA is looking for more Volunteers to help with these activities and others. New ideas are always welcome. Contact Cathy Rygh, PTA president for more information.

Landscaping – Assist our landscaping committee in planting and maintaining our plant areas around the school.

Teacher’s Assistant/Tutoring – Assist a classroom teacher.  Tasks vary by the needs of each teacher.
Technology Assistance – Assist our staff in addressing a variety of technology needs.

Creative and Visual Arts and Music – Lead students in a mini-class you design in cooperation with staff.

School Care – Assist in keeping our school grounds clean and free of graffiti and trash.
Reading Buddies - Help struggling readers improve their readings skills. A one on one tutoring program, training will be provided.

Playground Activities – Lead activities and games for students during recess.

Cafeteria Buddies – Sit with students and assist in supervising students during lunch or breakfast.
